Tumblr “Fitblr”

Tumblr Blog Site

I started a Tumblr blog.  And, evidently, the lingo for a fitness-inspired Tumblr blog is a “Fitblr.”  Kind of cute.

I love WP and it will continue to be my ‘main’ blog but it wouldn’t allow me to do a few things – like link to the Beachbody site.  I get it, I do. BUT it seems unfair that I could link to Jillian Michael’s, Billy Blanks, Jackie Warner & Amazon but not to Beachbody… So, if you are interested in the products you can go visit my

Beachbody store on Tumblr.

It has a very different ‘feel’ than WP… Many of the blogs are in a kind of ‘quilted’ or ‘collaged’ style if you will… It kind of makes me dizzy!  The words are often tiny & unreadable and the images everywhere are overwhelming!  Kind of like being in New York- I didn’t know which way to look because there was stuff -everywhere-.  Also, I can’t figure out how to comment on posts properly… kind of frustrating.

This blog is about my own fitness journey, my experiences and the lessons I have learned.  It is a space for me to share the knowledge I have gained, to hold myself accountable and to share inspiration and motivation with others.  Beachbody has been a large part of my journey and I want to share that too.

The WP e-mail I got said you can link to BB if you upgrade to the paid site. They didn’t like people making money from them hosting free sites without passing some of it along. I wasn’t even trying to sell anything and they made me pull my BB links.

Ohhhhh hmmmm…. That’s still kind of lame. 😦 You can link to another business site, though.. like an ebay store or any other business site. Just disappointed. I may end up paying for it later- when biz picks up & I can justify the expense. Tumblr is kinda creepy…. There’s a whole lot of pornography! And those weird mini-video-clip things..
